How to design and industrialize a mechanical part, while improving performances, reducing planning, increasing technological maturity from TRL 3 to 6?
Here are the 3 main phases that we followed:
Define product structure and performances to identify KDD and involved disciplines over whole lifecycle.
Define design loops of progressive granulometry involving whole disciplines and allowing to refine KDD and sanctioned by an arbitration ritual.
Set-up and structure a weekly collaborative meeting to synchronize whole disciplines, refine risks evaluation, evaluate product maturity, instantiate activities and consolidate planning.
A collaborative team mindset to converge on a global alignment of product performances and project planning:
- Early identification of transdisciplinary impacts through weekly meetings,
- Early global identification of risks and anticipation of mitigation plan especially on manufacturing and design inconsistencies,
- -3 months on a 15 months reference planning due to sharing and collaborative consolidation of planning.
